Dr. Christina Krieg is a licensed counseling psychologist with 10 years experience in primary care mental health. She is a wholistic health provider, and focuses on mind body connection, as our physical and mental health impact one another.  Dr. Krieg specializes in health psychology with a strong interest in treating a variety of sleep disorders with training in cognitive behavioral therapy for Insomnia, CPAP desensitization for sleep apnea, and serves as a trainer for cognitive behavioral therapy for nightmares. She has also been certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure therapy for the Primary care setting. Dr. Krieg has clinical and research experience adapting individual and group evidence-based psychotherapies via telehealth so that you can receive quality treatment from the comfort of your home. Dr. Krieg is passionate about helping individuals improve their sleep patterns to improve their overall quality of life. She specializes in treating adults with a variety of sleep disorders. Even if chronic health issues contribute to insomnia Dr. Krieg has 10 years of experience working on the cognitive and behavioral patterns in your control to improve your sleep.

Dr. Krieg has lived in Arizona most of her life and is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.  She is licensed in Arizona state and currently able to schedule with anyone in the state of Arizona.

Dr. Krieg received her masters degree en route to her PhD in counseling psychology. She completed counseling practicums each year of her program in a variety of areas centering health psychology including Banner Family Medicine, Phoenix Children's hospital and Job Corps. She completed her internship at the Puget Sound American Lake Veteran Affairs in Washington and returned to Arizona to complete a Postdoctoral fellowship 2016-2017 at Phoenix Veteran Affairs Health Care System.

Christina completed a major in psychology with a minor in Spanish. She worked in the behavioral psychology lab working on studying relationship stress, physical health and relationships.
